• Photo Analysis: NuDefndr leverages Apple's SensitiveContentAnalysis framework to identify sensitive content entirely on your device. Your photos and videos are never uploaded, shared, or accessed remotely under any circumstances.
• Photo Library Access: The app only accesses your photo library when you explicitly initiate a scan. NuDefndr does not store, copy, or transmit your photos in any form. You maintain complete control and can revoke access at any time through your device Settings.
• Zero Analytics: NuDefndr collects absolutely no usage data, crash reports, or telemetry information. The application does not track scans performed, features used, or any user behavior whatsoever.

2. Local Data Storage Only

All data utilized by NuDefndr remains securely on your device, protected by iOS security features:

• Application Settings: All configuration preferences (such as Auto-Scan settings, Strict Share Block options, and Scan Range selections) are saved locally via UserDefaults.
• Scan Information: To support efficient incremental scanning, NuDefndr stores only the timestamp of your last scan locally in UserDefaults.

3. Minimal Required Permissions

NuDefndr requests only the permissions absolutely necessary for its core functionality:

• Photo Library: Required to scan and protect sensitive content within your photo collection.
• Sensitive Content Analysis: Needed to utilize Apple's on-device detection framework.
• Background App Refresh: Optional permission, requested only for the Auto-Scan feature if you choose to enable it.

4. No Third-Party Services

NuDefndr incorporates absolutely zero third-party services:

• No analytics platforms
• No advertising frameworks
• No tracking mechanisms
• No external cloud services

The application utilizes only Apple's built-in frameworks that operate locally on your device. There is no integration with any external tools or services.

5. Comprehensive Security

Since all processing occurs exclusively on-device, your data benefits from your device's robust security infrastructure, including:

• Hardware encryption
• Biometric protection (Face ID/Touch ID)
• iOS security sandbox

With no internet connectivity, NuDefndr eliminates all potential vulnerabilities associated with remote data transmission or server storage. Your photos and personal data remain as secure as your device itself.

7. Children's Privacy

NuDefndr is not designed for or directed toward users under 13 years of age. Since the application collects absolutely no personal information from any users, it maintains compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and other applicable regulations.

8. In-App Purchases

NuDefndr offers optional 'Pro' features via In-App Purchase (an annual subscription or a one-time lifetime option). All payments are processed securely by Apple's App Store system; NuDefndr does not collect or access your payment card information. The application uses the third-party service RevenueCat solely to validate purchases and manage access to Pro features. This process operates separately from the on-device photo analysis.
